Faculty of Political Science and Journalism include a television studio, radio studio, computer labs, and a library. Among the 16 multimedia rooms, the largest is the auditorium, which can accommodate nearly 300 people.
More than 4,000 students study at the Faculty, supported by a team of over 150 researchers. In addition to academic staff, the Faculty also employs accomplished professionals in areas such as typesetting, digital processing, and editing, who provide students with practical knowledge and skills.
The Faculty hosts seven student-run media outlets, ranging from print to online platforms , to radio and television. Additionally, the Faculty organizes dozens of academic conferences each year, including international events.

The Faculty of Biology of Adam Mickiewicz University has been recognized as one of the best science faculties in Poland for many years. In its activities, it is guided by the principle of unity of research, education and dissemination of knowledge. Its high scientific position is confirmed by the prestigious title of the National Scientific Leading Center KNOW, obtained together with the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, awarded to scientific institutions conducting research at the highest level, and the didactic level - distinguished by the Polish Accreditation Committee awarded for the highest quality of education.

The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences is one of Poland's leading scientific units. Its uniqueness in Europe and the world is its activities at the interface of three sciences: chemistry, biology and computer science. Interdisciplinary research is carried out here, covering such fields as bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, systems biology, synthetic biology and bioinformatics, in particular, research on the synthesis, structure and function of nucleic acids and proteins and their components, as well as on their interactions under model and cellular conditions. The nucleus of the Institute was the Department of Stereochemistry of Natural Products of the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, established in 1969, which was transformed in 1980 into an independent Department of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and then, in 1988, into the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
